Last night’s run was too easy, once again. And of course, I am not sore today. I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’m just supposed to put all my effort into the long runs and the short ones during the week are just to keep me moving? I barely broke a sweat. I’m sticking with Galloway for this next long run, and then I’m going to bump it up to 30/30 run-walk-run for February.
Agenda: 1.25 miles, running 30 sec./walking 45 sec.
Results: 1.25 miles, running 30 sec. (5.5 mph)/walking 30-45 sec. (2.5 mph). Burned 125 calories. Took 18:49.
I realize that I said I was going to celebrate Addi’s 3rd Birthday on Tues and I never did. Poor Addi. Being busy blows, fyi. I decided I’m going to do it this weekend. I’m going to pick up a pretty puppy cake tonight
Yayy!
Those boots got discounted to $32, and then I received a 15% off coupon in the mail last night. I’m pretty sure I’m going to order the chestnut pair this weekend- two sales makes it destiny, right? Haha.
Dinner: Pork Chops Pizzaiola (courtesy of Rachel Ray) with Caramelized Onion Penne (also Rachel Ray) and if it doesn’t look like too much food, probably some garlic roasted green beans with shallots. But we’ll have to see about that. I like to include a veggie, but I also don’t want too much food on my plate. A health-conscious person would sub green beans for penne, but the penne sounds too awesome to live without!
No dessert tonight. I had to go out and buy some “fat pants” yesterday and I think I need to start watching what I eat now. Even though that’s not fun and makes for lame cooking. But I think if I only have dessert once a week, that may help? It also may not…. It could be heading for blimp-ville. Only time will tell haha.
Has anyone ever used the Cook’n Recipe Organizer software? It looks really really super cool, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Watch the demo. If you’re as much of a food nerd as I am, you’re going to die!
