Half Marathon Training – Day 5

I am so excited! My mom just signed up to run the Baltimore Half Marathon with me in October :) Now I DOUBLE have to be ready because my mom’s doing it and because I spent $78 on it.

Today is a REST day.

Mondays are VERY long days for me (8:00 am – 9:30 pm), which is unfortunate because it’s Addi’s 3rd birthday. So I’m going to celebrate with her tomorrow. Wag-N-Wash has a doggie bakery where I can pick up a doggie birthday cake :) I usually make it, but I don’t have time for baking cakes right now.

I adjusted my running schedule because it felt too easy. Below is the new schedule. I will be running 30 seconds and walking 45 seconds from now on until I feel that I’m ready to move up to 30/30.
